Mariano Rossetti

FILMMAKER

An accomplished, award-winning Producer and Director, Mariano has been in the film and video production industry for nearly 20 years. Growing up in a film and television producing family has helped Mariano become the filmmaker he is today. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work in all facets of production, including in the camera and lighting departments, and is currently active as a Director and Producer. Mariano’s recent projects include producing and directing commercials and marketing video content for JPMorganChase, as well as directing documentary films concerning issues that affect various groups within our society, like What Is Lupus?, a film that demystifies the disease known as lupus and how it affects patients and their families. In the past. From 2016 to 2018, Mariano was the Producer of Game On, an all-female sports newsmagazine show that brings to light issues that affect women in sport.

Mariano has had the pleasure to produce and direct client stories and commercials for large corporate clients, including Apple, eBay, Charles Schwab, Salesforce, and Comcast NBCUniversal, while also developing video content for startups in tech and healthcare.

Aside from film making, Mariano is also a passionate film photographer, focusing–no pun intended–on landscapes, nature, cities, and details of inanimate objects. He has volunteered as a mentor with First Exposures, a non-profit, youth mentoring program in San Francisco that strives to teach under-served youth the basics of photography.

Mariano has a Bachelor of Arts degree in TV Broadcasting and Video Production from San Francisco State University, and is on track to earn an MFA in Cinema. With a home base in the United States and in Latin America, he is able to work on projects around the world.
